Waterfall With boat

Hi! It's me Àbhí from @_abhishek_raaz! Today, I'm going to show you the techniques I've used to create this dynamic design in this #MadeWithPhotoshop tutorial.

Let's get it started.

First, I selected the screen area and masked it to set up the assets that will compose the landscape inside the cell phone.

I started to import every image that I used to create the background, including the waterfalls and sky.

Then it was time to focus on the wave. Three images were used to create it. I selected the areas using Channels and the Lasso Tool. A bit of distortion is always welcome and I usually use Free Transform and Warp to make it work together.

I started to bring some colors over the waves to blend them with the rest of the scene.

Then I used Blend to select and cut out the splashes. After that, I increased the light to improve the edges and blending.

To create the background, I filled the background layer with blue and then used the Gradient Tool, setting it up with a lighter tone of blue to paint over the top of the scene.

To create the water over the ground I used the Pen tool, drawing a shape. Then, with the Layer Style I applied an Inner Shadow and set it up to lighten the edge of the water, creating volume. Then, I did it again, but this time creating a drop shadow and here you are, we have a pool!

Finally, I imported a new cellphone image and I used its shadow in the scene, blending it by choosing Multiply in the Blending modes.

I hope you liked this tutorial!
